Jefferson Avenue Residence
This second story addition was designed for a small family eager to maintain elements of the original Craftsmen Style home. The home includes 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and a partially built-out attic playroom. Due to zoning restrictions, windows could not be placed on the lakeside of the home. To bring light into the core of the home, we designed an open stair with an integrated 3-story shelf system with a skylight above. The resulting effect is a light well, washing the interior of the home with natural light.
