This “dream kitchen” was completed for a retired couple who moved to New Orleans from California. The large picture windows at the back of the kitchen were not visible from the previous kitchen. The goal was to wash the kitchen in natural light. The Owner loves to cook for her entire family, especially her grandkids. The open plan kitchen allows for a true working kitchen while still being connected to guests, whether they are seated at the bar or the 14 foot long dining table. We also updated and expanded a small, stand up shower to take advantage of the existing bathroom skylight.
